Adult Hockey Beginner - 119610

This class provides an unintimidating environment for adults to give hockey a try. There is no experience required. Skills to be learned include skating basics like crossovers and stopping, as well as stick handling, passing, and shooting. The laidback atmosphere and constructive coaching will make this class as fun while focusing on building new skills on the ice. Meet new people or join with friends and spend your Friday nights on the ice!

Spring Ice Bears Midget - 119655

The Oak Park Ice Bears are a competitive youth travel hockey team that competes in the Northwest Hockey League. The spring program consists of an average of two practices and game a week from mid-March through May. Players interested in this program should have previous hockey game experience. Polar Bear Hockey League, or equivalent, experience recommended.

Are you looking to continue to develop your baseball skills? This league will teach participants the basics of throwing, hitting, running, and fielding. The first few weeks are practice only with the remaining weeks consisting of a brief warm up followed by a game. Games/practices will be for one hour between 5:30-7:30p on Tuesdays for the Tuesday league, or Thursdays for the Thursday league. Egg Hunt - 161912

The Bunnies have awoken from their slumber and left beautful eggs in Maple Park for your children to find! Children ages 3-10 are encouraged to bring baskets, bonnets and bunny ears to participate in our annual egg hunt. The hunt for eggs will occur rain or shine so arrive appropriately dressed for maximum search time! Our Bunney will be on hand for pictures with the whole family and we will have themed games before and after each hunt.

Let's meet for lunch together! Your child will learn meal time manners as they enjoy table conversation with friends. Lunch will be followed by a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Healthy eating and exercise will be encouraged as your child enjoys an afternoon with friends. Please have your child bring a peanut/nut-free lunch. Participants who also attend Pre-K should bring their lunch the morning of program.
